LENASO has well established good relations with principal chiefs and local chiefs as traditional leaders and the gateway keepers to support implementation of community activities. LENASO has demonstrated ability to work in a partnership with broad stakeholders from different sectors that include international and development partners, different line ministries, UN agencies, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), CBOs, other networks at regional and national level and universities. Currently LENASO has reliable partnerships with EGPAF, JHPIEGO, BAYLOR, Pact and Ministry of Finance – project Management Unit where in all partnerships LENASO is a sub-recipient. In the past, LENASO has partnered with PSI, University Research Council (URC), Management Sciences for Health (MSH) whereby LENASO was implementing Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) interventions. LENASO has current partnership with FHI360 as a sub-recipient of organizational capacity development. LENSAO has the active MOU with the Ministry of Health (MOH) as the community partner. As the main community partner, has established good partnership with the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftainship (MOLC) to promote ownership and sustainability, has engaged with relevant authorities from the districts to the community level. LENASO has MOU with the ministry of Public Works and Transport through Roads Directorate to implement SEA/ HIV & GBV project funded by the World Bank, has MOU with Ministry of Forestry to educate its affiliates and beneficiaries on Climate Change and sustainable Income Generating Activities (IGAs).
LENASO has established relationships with other sister networks for regional strategic planning and programming. These networks are: Eastern Africa Network of AIDS Service Organizations (EANNASO) who supported to link LENASO with other regional technical service providers who supported with facilitation of Civil Society engagement in the processes of National Strategic Plan. LENASO has further established a good collaboration with Botswana Network of AIDS Service Organizations (BONASO) and Namibian Network of AIDS Service Organizations (NANASO) to learn and share experiences.
